Lately I've been working on my animation skills and have one project in the works. I've recently been interested in the idea of making flash games. I've always been intrigued by the idea of indie games, but now I would like to try making them. However, this means learning Actionscript. I don't know much about it and I was wondering which is better, AS3 or AS2? I know that alot of people use AS3, but which is better for beginners?
TL;DR, AS3 or AS2 for beginners?

as probably none of you know, I used to go by the name Fatcat360. Anyways, I gave that up. So here's my new page. I hope to be much more productive with animation and zines and crap, but don't expect a WHOLE lot.
